Key issues we're focussing on
-
Our current tax system doesn’t treat everyone equally. For example, women, especially single mothers and carers, are impacted the most by tax policies that don’t reflect their needs.
-
In Scotland, the richer you are, on average, the more you pollute and those with the least are the most vulnerable to climate impacts.
-
Most tax revenues in Scotland come from taxes on income earned by workers, while land and other assets often go undertaxed.
-
Our health, education, and social care systems are the backbone of a fair society. However, these vital services are under increasing pressure due to underfunding.
